Panhandle Project
Welcome to our Panhandle Project!
Goldenbird Design was brought in to add more depth and warmth to a classic San Francisco Victorian. Our brief was simple – make this a space where people want to come together, sit, and stay awhile. We set out to create distinguished rooms that could stand on their own while still telling a cohesive story. Most importantly, we prioritized design solutions that would really showcase and celebrate the home’s original details. Some highlights: a wallpapered dining room ceiling with gold flecks paired with Farrow & Ball Downpipe and chocolatey-velvet drapes. A long, narrow living room with two distinguished spaces bridged by a Frama daybed. And a reimagining of the library room into a primary suite chalk full of soothing neutrals and textures. Intentionally designed by McKenzy Golding of Goldenbird Design.
